Christ Covenant Church is a body of believers committed to finding our deepest joys in a worshipful relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are convinced that knowing God and belonging to Him by grace is the most thoroughly satisfying experience in life; that we truly were made to glorify God and enjoy Him forever! What do we believe? Sola scriptura. Sola fide. Sola gratia. Solus Christus. Soli Deo gloria. We are: A Bible-believing church We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. This means we hold fast to the truths that Scripture teaches: that God created us, that we fell into sin, that Jesus Christ came to save us, and that one day he will return again. Religion is not something that we "do" for an hour each Sunday morning. God is sovereign over the entire universe and every aspect of our lives, and calls us to serve Him in everything we do. Although we are not perfect and often fail in honoring God in our daily lives, we continually strive to improve and grow in our relationship with Him. At Christ Covenant Church, you'll find preaching, teaching, and encouragement to help us better serve God in all areas of life. A Reformed church Our roots run deep. Our heritage traces back to the practice and teaching of the churches of the 16th Century Protestant Reformation. Our confession of faith is the Westminster Standards of the 17th Century: The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. As a Reformed, Presbyterian church, we believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and that it contains all we need to know to serve Him. Our duty is to "glorify God and to enjoy Him forever." (Westminster Shorter Catechism, Question 1) Although all humans are fallen sinners, God has sent His son Jesus Christ to save His people by bearing the punishment due us. A Presbyterian church "Presbyterian" comes from a Greek word meaning "elder". We are governed by a group of elders, including the minister, whose primary responsibility it is to care for the spiritual well-being of her members. A congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) The OPC is a nation-wide denomination. The word "orthodox" simply means "straight thinking" or "straight teaching", and refers to our commitment to the historic Christian faith. More about the OPC can be found on our links page. 9:45 a.m. Adult Sunday School Class - The Parables of Jesus Youth Sunday School Class -   What is God’s will?
